Alora can't remember a time when she wasn't imprisoned in a tower. When a cryptic old wizard breaks her out, she learns overwhelming truths about her identity and destiny: she's a princess, prophesied to bring about the downfall of an evil sorceress, and cursed to sleep until true love's kiss wakes her.

Prince Aldric spends years searching for both his missing family and his lost betrothed. When a wounded Princess Alora collapses in his arms, he's determined to help her break her curse and capture the sorceress who tore his family apart.

With Aldric's help, Alora learns to harness a power she barely understands as her fated sleep looms ever closer. Will it be enough to defeat the powerful sorceress who cursed her, or will Alora and Aldric's happily ever after be over before it can even begin?

Lake of the Wild Swans

A Combined Retelling of Swan Lake & The Wild Swans

Realms of Caelia Book Two

A swan princess, a vile sorcerer, and a prince searching for his lost love.

Princess Odette doesn’t expect dancing in the arms of the handsome and flirtatious Prince Lander to incite the jealous Lord Rothbart to kidnap and curse her and her seven brothers. Held captive far from home as a swan by day, princess by night, Odette evades Rothbart’s nightly proposals. She will do anything to return her brothers’ humanity—even knit with nettles. The way to break her own curse, however, remains a mystery.

Lander yearns to find the missing princess who captured his heart. After three years of fruitless searching, he fears he will never see his love again.

When Lander finally stumbles upon her prison, he will do whatever it takes to save Odette from the vile sorcerer and her seemingly unbreakable curse. Yet Rothbart has plans of his own. Can Lander break Odette’s curse in time, or will Rothbart keep her forever?

Reading Recommendations
Writers are readers. So, naturally, I love to read. I read a lot. The more I read, the better I write. My absolute favorite books are in the same genre I write. I read fairy tale retellings, romantic fantasy, urban fantasy, epic fantasy, regency romance, historical fiction, and the occasional contemporary romance. Basically, if it’s clean and well-written, I will read it – especially if it has a sweet romance! I don’t read or write anything with spice. Ever. I prefer cozy, happily ever after stories. Life is hard enough; I read to relax and enjoy the story.

I do not write reviews of another author’s work, nor do I want to disparage anyone else’s writing. That said, I also don’t want to recommend a book that may trigger someone else. Each reader has their own concept of what constitutes as clean. It can be very subjective. For instance, fade to black is typically more intense than I personally prefer. I tend to be on the more prudish side of clean. I'm also more sensitive to violence and grim themes than I used to be which I consider a good thing. I tend to avoid books that feel heavy.

Since opinions on what is clean can vary so much, take any recommendations with a grain of salt. If you are a parent considering a book for your child, I highly recommend you research or read it for yourself first to see if you feel it is appropriate according to your personal standards.
